Just a friendly reminder that our Scholastic Book Fair will end tomorrow afternoon. Please stop by to shop with your child during their specials, recess or lunch times.
We would also like to thank our local Mexia H-E-B for donating the paper bags we use for the book fair. H-E-B has been a strong supporter of our communities education and making sure our students are set for success.

For the safety of all students, please ensure you have your Car Rider Tag visible when picking up your child during Canopy dismissal.
If you do not have a tag, you will need to visit the front office to have one issued before your child can be released.
If you need a replacement tag or would like to request an additional tag for a grandparent or other authorized pickup person, please contact your child’s teacher through the Rooms App or call the school directly.
Pick up at the front office stops at 3:00 PM daily to allow for the buses to stage for dismissal.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and efficient dismissal process!

It's Book Fair time and our students couldn't be more excited. Here is how you can share the moment with your child. Parents, you can come to the school during recess and lunch times to walk the Book Fair with your child. Please check with your child's teacher for lunch and recess times.
All students will be taken to the book fair during their scheduled library time. Hurry, because our Scholastic Book Fair ends this Friday afternoon.

MISD is pleased to announce that Mrs. Amanda Wilson has been named the new principal for Mexia Junior High School! Mrs. Wilson has been serving as the assistant principal at MJH and most recently as the interim principal there. Her duties will begin immediately. It’s a great day to be a Blackcat!
