Good Morning, Today, at approximately 10:50AM, the fire alarm went off at Mexia Junior High. The building was evacuated and Mexia Fire Department responded immediately. No fire was found and Mexia Fire Department authorized students and staff to return to the building and resume school. At no time were students or staff in danger, their safety is our number one priority. A big thank you goes out to Mexia first responders for prioritizing the safety of our staff, students & facilities.
