All students enrolled are entitled to checkout books from their campus library for a maximum of 14 days.

If books/materials are not returned by their due date there is a late fee applied to the student's account of $0.05 per day with a maximum late fee of $5.00

Use these links to read digital books online. Some books even have a built-in narrator who reads the books aloud.

MISD's digital library follows the Standards and Guidelines for Texas, which are adopted by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. These standards and guidelines are applicable to local Texas school districts. 13 TAC 4.1

MISD is expanding our library services in accordance with Education Code 33.021, to provide more digital literature.

Please note, library books and ebooks are instructional resources; however, they are not instructional materials.  As such, library resources are for voluntary inquiry, and are not required instructional materials.
